special day !!

So today is a very special day for us, because today is exactly the day we celebrate National Doctors Day. National Doctors' Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. To appreciate the services of doctors, every October 24 we commemorate National Doctors Day. In a pandemic situation like now, doctors have also become heroes of the vanguard who have come down directly to treat Covid-19 patients. Doctors have a big role and service in saving the lives of many people. https://youtu.be/90IK621F1EI Not only that, on 28 October we will also commemorate the Youth Pledge Day. Youth Pledge Day was a declaration made on 28 October 1928 by young Indonesian nationalists in the Second Youth Congress (Indonesian: Kongres Pemuda Kedua). They proclaimed three ideals; one motherland, one nation and one language (tanah air Indonesia, bangsa Indonesia, dan bahasa Indonesia) As students we must always study hard, must tolerate each other,...

if conditional type 1

The  type 1 conditional  is used to refer to the present or future where the situation is real. The  type 1 conditional  refers to a possible condition and its probable result. Using Type 1: The conditional sentences indicate us a possible condition and its probable result. It means  that the expected actions depends on a condition. If Clauses – Type 1 is used to express a possibility  in the future (It is not certain that it will happen, but it is possible). We use this type when talking  about real and possible situations in the future. Examples: If I have enough money (if clause) , I will buy a car. (Main Clause) If we see her, we will tell her what the teacher said. If I go to the market, I will buy what you want. If I pass the exam, I will organize a celebration party. If you feel bad, you must go to the doctor. Using Type 1 in QUESTIONS Examples: What will you do if you lose the match? Can you call me if you see Susan? Will you leave ...

if conditional zero type

What is the  zero conditional ? We use the  zero conditional  when we want to talk about facts or things that are generally true. It is important to remember that this condition is not realated to the past, present or future - it only applies to things which are ALWAYS true. We can make a zero conditional sentence with two  present simple  verbs (one in the 'if clause' and one in the 'main clause'): If + present simple, .... present simple. This conditional is used when the result will always happen. So, if water reaches 100 degrees, it always boils. It's a fact. I'm talking in general, not about one particular situation. The result of the 'if clause' is always the main clause. The 'if' in this conditional can usually be replaced by 'when' without changing the meaning. For example: If water  reaches  100 degrees, it  boils . (It is always true, there can't be a different result sometimes). If I  eat peanuts, I  am  sick. (Thi...

Passive Voice

Definition of Passive Voice The passive voice is used when we want to emphasize the action (the verb) and the object of a sentence rather than subject. This means that the subject is either less important than the action itself or that we don’t know who or what the subject is. Passive voice  is a  grammatical construction  (grammatical form) in which the  subject  sentence does not take action, but instead receives action (as a  receiver of action  ). The action is followed up by  another  agent  (as a  doer of action  ) who can be mentioned or not. In contrast to the  active voice  , the  subject  is directly related to the  verb   by acting as the actor of the action. Active sentences may be changed to passive, especially active sentences that use a  transitive verb  (need to be followed by a   direct object  ). Passive Voice function In En...
